VICENZAORO FIRST SHOWCASES THE PREVIEWS AND TRENDS FOR JEWELLERY FROM 16 TO 21 January 2010

Around 1500 exhibitors expected at the Vicenza Fair

Vicenzaoro First, the international exhibition which Fiera di Vicenza dedicates to jewellery and goldware will be in the limelight from 16 to 21 January 2010. Over 1500 exhibiting companies from 55 Italian provinces and 31 foreign countries are expected. These figures confirm that being present in Vicenza is indispensable in the sector as it is the first show of the year at world level. Vicenzaoro First provides a setting of excellence for showcasing previews and new collections, the trends for 2010 and the forecasts for 2011 for jewellery with the seminars of the TJF Group and the events of the World Gold Council (WGC).

The spotlights are also focussed on the technical events for operators in the sector such as the encounter promoted by Cisgem on the certification of precious goods and the sixth edition of the Jewellery Technology Forum, the international symposium on the state of the art in research and technology for jewellers and silversmiths, organized by Fiera di Vicenza and Leg.Or Group.

The keyword at Vicenzaoro First for 2010 is renewal, with easy-to-visit exhibition spaces featuring a new look and a more and more creative design, with an area dedicated exclusively to foreign collectives and the restyling of some of the areas of the fair premises.

Even more attractive are the proposals of Glamroom, the exhibition concept which combines jewellery, fashion, design and innovation with famous international brands, as well as Gem World, the show dedicated to precious and semiprecious stones, realized in partnership with Assogemme and Brand Lab, the space dedicated to studying the proposals coming from the world of marketing, retail and merchandising in order to encourage more incisive contact with the end-customer.

Held concurrently with Vicenzaoro First is Vicenzaoro T-Gold (pavilion L), the show dedicated to applied technologies for working precious metals, the most important showcase in the world where it is possible to find all the latest machinery and gemmological instruments for the gold and silver sector.

Two decades of partnership between Fiera di Vicenza and World Gold Council have led to the debut, in January, here in Vicenza, of the new travelling collection "Gold Expressions 2010", exhibited in the dedicated area of Pavilion F for the entire duration of the show. The collection, which spotlights a selection of the best Italian gold production (53 design collections created by 33 goldsmith firms), will then move to the most important international jewellery shows. With this initiative, Fiera di Vicenza and the World Gold Council reinforce their partnership for supporting the internationalization of Italian goldware businesses.

Traditionally, the international show, Vicenzaoro First, is open exclusively to operators and buyers in the sector who can find in Vicenza the ideal community in which to develop new contacts.
